Set of 10 'Africa' dining chairs designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa as part of the 'Artona' series for Maxalto in the 1970s. Crafted in walnut with ebonised inlays, black leather upholstery, and brass details. Made in Italy. Dimensions: Width 56 cm, Depth 44 cm, Height 46/79 cm. The Scarpa duo is renowned for iconic designs such as the Soriana chair and the Monk chair, with their works featured in major museums worldwide. This set is in very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Restoration or reupholstery services are available upon request.
