Art Nouveau Turquoise Glass Vase with Hand-Painted Floral Decoration

Period: ca. 1900 this lovely art nouveau vase has a wonderfully vibrant turquoise blue color. It has been decorated on one side with hand-painted white flowers and bronze-gilt leaves that are japanese-inspired. The body has a slight swirl. The glass contains bubble inclusions; these are inherent in the hand-blown production process. Condition: very good. No damage. The gold paint has thinned in places. Residue on the bottom that I have not been able to remove. Dimensions: 30 cm high, 9 cm diameter at the foot.
