Description
Two-seater art deco boat bed frame, made of macassar ebony veneer, by decorator claude de plasse. The head of the bed follows a light curve that gives it elegance while maintaining its simplicity. The foot of the bed enhances the whole with its curved shapes and its base carved with rings in a quarter circle. It rests on ball feet. Macassar ebony, a wood alternating black and cream colors, is used in the decoration and manufacture of high-end furniture, especially during the art deco period. This type of wood is mainly produced in indonesia and takes its name from the city of makassar. It can also come with a pair of bedside table and a macassar ebony veneer dressing table that we sell separately.
