Large ceramic dish with polychrome decoration, Robert Picault, circa 1950, France, monogrammed RP below. Robert Picault (1919-2000), famous French ceramist who worked with Picasso and Roger Capron in Vallauris, in the south of France. His glazed pieces are most often bichromate, with copper oxide lines for green and iron oxide for brown. Overall condition: excellent. Item may show slight signs of wear due to age. Length 35cm - Width 28.5 - Height 6.5.
