Set of 6 vintage gold-plated tea spoons in the French Louis style

A charming set of six vintage Louis-style gold-plated teaspoons, marked "President" on the back. These lovely spoons are typically used in France as dessert spoons. Based on the style of the box, I would estimate them to be from the 1950s or 1960s and they appear to have never been used. The spoons are simple, but the handles feature an elegant Rococo-style design on both sides. The box shows some wear on the exterior, but the interior is clean. The lid is lined with a cream satin-like fabric and has the name "President" printed on it, though the print has faded over time. The bottom of the box is lined with an orange taffeta-like fabric and has red dividers to prevent the spoons from touching each other. Each spoon measures approximately 14.5 cm X 3 cm X 0.02 cm (spoon - 5 cm X 3 cm). The box measures approximately 4 cm X 16.5 cm X 8 cm and weighs just over 300 g without its contents. A lovely set of spoons for your home or as a gift.
