Art Deco box

Elegant vintage box made of pressed moulded glass, probably produced between the 1930s and 1950s. Rectangular in shape, it features a beautiful geometric relief design composed of wide vertical ribs and chevron patterns, characteristic of the Art Deco and modernist aesthetics of this period. The thick and particularly heavy glass body is topped with a light wood lid, enhanced by a dark wood rectangular handle. A very nice combination of materials and geometric lines. A decorative piece that can be used as a jewellery box, storage box, or simply as a decorative object. In very good overall vintage condition.
