Ceramic vase of the saint-clément earthenware factory of the 50s and 60s in the form of a diabolo with vegetal decoration of rushes painted by hand, signed and numbered. The base of the decor is yellow and streaked with shades of green, brown, revealing the yellow below. It measures 29 cm in height, 9 cm in diameter at the neck and 7 cm in diameter at the base. It is in perfect condition. It is signed dated and with mention hand painted. The period after 1945 promises to be glorious. In the 50s, the trio saint-clément, lunéville, badonviller ensures a large percentage of french earthenware production. Dishes occupy a prominent place. It is the plates, the soup tureens, the saucières decorative objects that please today, with their vintage look. In the 50s, the flowery decorations of the post-war years were followed by the very graphic non-figurative decorations, stemming from the fashion of abstract art that triumphed at that time.
