Small chest of drawers, 18th century

Small commode from the 18th century, known as a "sauteuse, " with 3 drawers, 2 small and one large, made of rosewood marquetry, stamped in 4 places with JME (jurande des maîtres menuisiers ébénistes) and the initials FF (François Fleury), a Parisian cabinetmaker from the mid-18th century, topped with its griotte marble in shades of red, the whole enhanced by its gilded bronzes, a piece of very fine quality and interesting due to its small dimensions.
