Vintage canister / lady-jeanne in green glass. Stamped on the neck: viresa. According to legend, in 1347, queen joan took refuge with a glass craftsman in the hamlet of saint paul la galline grasse. By visiting the workshops dedicated to the manufacture of bottles she impressed her host who blew so hard in the bit of his cane, that the bottle in progress became huge, making the admiration of all by its important capacity. He decided to market the model he named "queen jeanne", in honor of his inspiration, but the sovereign preferred the name "dame jeanne".
