Industrial cast iron gents of leicester clock

Incredible large 18” cast iron factory clock manufactured by renowned electrical company gents of leicester. C.1930. Once adorning the interior of guardbridge paper mill in scotland, this clock has been stripped of a previous poor paint job to reveal the raw cast iron beneath. The clock face has raised roman numerals, makers mark and gents' iconic arrow hands are running on the original slave movement which now has benefit of a modern battery operated impulse driver giving that synonymous mechanical 'clunk' every 30 seconds. Note: all 3 fixing lugs must be used when securing to a wall.
