Art Deco folding table

Portfolio table or handkerchief table or game table that can serve as a console. The top plate rotates 90 degrees to open in two and double its usable surface, while providing access to the inner compartment. Art Deco style (1930s - 1940s). The clean, geometric lines are combined with a double-curved lyre-shaped base with elegant curves connected by a central stretcher. Made of solid oak or mahogany with visible original brass hinges on the front. General condition: good state of preservation. The wood has a beautiful waxed patina, the top is clean with no major visible stains, and the rotation/opening mechanism is fully functional. The top is slightly warped. Closed dimensions: 85 cm X 54 cm. Open dimensions: 108 cm X 85 cm. Height: 75 cm.
