Description
I propose this pair of vases called satsuma from japan. Presumably meiji period 1866 -1912. Beautiful state of conservation. Decorations of japanese characters painted samurai and geishas, enamelled and gilded on an ivory background. Rare model; 6-sided vase. Height 25 cm max body diameter 16 cm neck diameter 8 cm. Signature ideogram in red under the vase.
