Japanese chair Maruni Hiroshima Armchair by Naoto Fukasawa
Japanese chair made of walnut. Very little used as a conference room chair. Seat, backrest, and armrests in solid walnut with a chrome-plated stainless steel frame. Stackable up to four chairs. The Hiroshima collection was launched in 2008, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, with the aim of creating furniture that combines robustness and timeless aesthetics, capable of retaining its freshness and vitality over the years. The stackable armchair Hiroshima is the latest model to enrich the Hiroshima seating collection. It was presented at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2016. "There was a demand for pieces that could also meet the requirements of public spaces. When I considered designing this model, I thought of a stackable chair and stool that could combine wood with a material as durable and unique as stainless steel, " explains Fukasawa.
