Released in 2009, Philippe Starck's Masters armchair has already achieved design icon status. Winner of the prestigious Good Design Award 2010 and Red Dot Award 2013, Masters is a true best-seller that is now available as a high stool. Like the famous Matsers armchair, this futuristic-looking high stool pays homage to the icons that have marked the history of design. In an interweaving of sinuous and dynamic lines, the backrest evokes the silhouettes of three classics of contemporary design: the Tulip Armchair by Eero Saarinen, the Eiffel Chair by Charles Eames and the Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen... This hybrid and attractive "stylistic synthesis" is characterized by a superb play of solids and voids. Made of polypropylene, this ultra-original seat is also ample and comfortable. We love its style and its low price... Available in two seat heights: H 65 cm and H 75 cm. Continuing its technological research, Kartell continues to innovate to select new materials that are ever more efficient and environmentally friendly. This piece of furniture is made of 100% recycled thermoplastic technopolymer, sourced from pure storage materials uncontaminated by other materials. The choice is dictated by the possibility that technology now provides: using a waste material that guarantees the aesthetic quality and structural criteria of the product by reducing the emissions necessary for its production. With this material, Kartell is charting a new path in environmental sustainability, using recycled materials while ridding the environment of waste that becomes raw material again, thus activating a virtuous circle of circular economy.
