Art nouveau table vase in brass and opaline glass

Truly elegant and delicate, this art nouveau table vase with a sculpted rim. Large ornamental piece that looks a bit like a flower itself, but is also functional to keep a small bouquet. The glass is light green, with some ornamentation in darker green. This is called a middle room, or an Epergne. This example is probably used for flowers. The glass vase is held by a beautifully detailed brass base. Underneath, there are traces of welding, which I am sure are original. The base is slightly dented where the round pillar is attached to the lower part. Not a serious problem though. The glass vase has a chip on the invisible background when it is in its position. Dimensions: 54 centimeters in height in total.
