Side table style liner streamline period art deco 1930, with two diamond trays in walnut veneer forming a checkerboard. Two chrome-plated steel columns support the top at two ends, in the center a vertical panel similar to the trays serves as a base. This tea table expressive by its tapered geometric lines, reveal the quest for novelty of the creators of french art deco like andré sornay, in search of modernist furniture with refined architecture. the table has been completely dismantled for cleaning, sanding and varnishing of the wood. The steel studs have been brushed bringing out the old traces of chrome that we have chosen to keep "in its juice". Note a lack of veneer on the lower tray (visible in photos), without hindering use. Dimensions (cm): diagonal 70 with two opposite sides of l46.5 and 47.5 and two others of 37. Height 56.5.
