Old chromolithograph relief tableau from the 1970s.

Limited edition chromolithographic relief print. The artwork depicts a historic urban landscape with traditional half-timbered houses, very characteristic of Alsace villages (such as Colmar or Strasbourg). The piece is signed at the bottom left of the gilded section. It is a colour print (chromolithography) made on a gilded or metallic support, with a relief effect (embossing) to add texture to the buildings. The painting has a beautiful imposing Alsatian decorative frame combining a burl-style moulding (thuya or walnut burl) and gilded borders. In good condition. Width 30/21, depth 4, height 27/18.
