Coffee table or side table by Wanderwood of Norfolk, England c.1950-60. Wanderwood were more commonly known for their stools, rare to find a table of this size. Made of solid English elm in a rustic brutalist style. Thick wood top of organic form, made of solid elm, showing very strong grain. Tripod base in solid wood with organic irregular shaped legs. Assembled in a traditional manner using a simple join, typical of Wanderwood. Maker's metal plaque to the under side. Very good vintage condition with no damage.
