Painting Mountain scene with characters hunter carrying water XIX°

Beautiful work made in oil on cardboard dating from the late nineteenth century representing a mountain scene where a hunter turns in the footsteps of a charming water carrier. The scene is original and of excellent quality. Note, as a precaution, that the cardboard has slightly bulged and that the pictorial layer deserves a superficial cleaning (a few millimeter marks). The frame, period, is offered with the work (trace of wear and small old restorations, period gilding). The whole has a lot of charm. Dimension with frame: 46 / 62 cm, cardboard: 38 / 54 cm.
