Authentically vintage, italian made, louis XV style / rocaille / art nouveau / silver plated metal with hallmark - protective foam rectangles: here is a 50-piece cutlery set with a vintage retro charm on your table - late 19th century - early 20th century consisting of: - 12 forks - length 20cm. - 12 large spoons - length 20 cm. - 12 serrated knives - length 22.5 cm. - 11 small dessert spoons - length 12.9 cm. - 2 large cream spoons and 1 large meat or other fork: length 25.5 cm. Total weight with cardboard box and velvet and satin fabric approximately 3.680 kg - (box 48 X 32.5 X 6.5 cm) - approximately weight of cutlery 2.935 kg. Good vintage condition of the cutlery with minimal signs of use - note that a small spoon is missing and the ladle has been replaced by a large spoon - the box is original: the closure and hinges have rust and one hinge is detached from its support with a small tear - the ribbons holding the opening of the box have traces of glue and are stapled - there is a small tear glued to a corner on the box outside. Care: this service, about a hundred years old and yellowed by the passage of time, has been polished - rinse with hot water before first use and clean only by hand like all table silverware.
