Antique desk / school bench (1920) in cast iron by Mark Breda, Holland.

DESCRIPTION: Relive your childhood with this beautiful antique desk/lectern. This desk dates from around 1920. It features a typical design from that era, with a usual cast iron frame and a solid wood seat and tabletop. The desk in this set can be folded. The tabletop has space for a pen holder and a dip pen. Below the tabletop, there is still room for those important school books. The frame is marked "De Mark Breda" (I can only find an office supplies company by that name). In any case, it is a lovely nostalgic piece of furniture for anyone who enjoys a trip down memory lane. DIMENSIONS: Height: 76 cm. Seat height: 43 cm. Length: 95 cm. Depth: 100 cm. (Can be transported in two parts; the bench and the table are separate) CONDITION: Good condition but with signs of wear. One of the metal backs is broken, but this does not pose a problem (see the last photo).
