Pair of Philippe Capelle turquoise lacquered wooden table lamps MCM 1970s

Exceptional and very rare pair of turquoise blue lacquered turned wood table lamps by the French designer Philippe Capelle, from the 1970s. These luminaires, with a pronounced Pop Art style, are distinguished by their sculptural, curved bases finished in a vibrant glossy turquoise blue. Each base bears the original stamp of the publisher "PHILIPPE CAPELLE" underneath. The lamps are presented with their white conical shades that diffuse a soft and warm light. Finding these pieces as a matching signed pair is extremely rare for collectors of French design from the 1970s.
