Inspired by the grand decorative compositions of 18th-century France, this hand-knotted rug, entirely handmade, - Dimensions: 4.45 × 3.00 Metres and in the Aubusson style, captivates with the richness of its decor and the elegance of its design, in the pure tradition of classical-inspired productions. Its central field, multicoloured and warm, is organised around a large oval ivory medallion, delicately adorned with a floral bouquet in subtle shades of pink, cream, and soft green. This medallion is set within a lush decor of arabesques, scrolls, and stylised floral motifs, arranged with beautiful symmetry and enhanced with golden touches that add relief and refinement. The corners feature large floral cartouches on a light background, echoing the theme of the central bouquet, connected by garlands and undulating ribbons, characteristic of the Aubusson style. The whole is framed by wide borders in ivory and gold tones, richly adorned with floral motifs, interlacing, and architectural elements, highlighting the elegant and structured character of the composition.
