Strongly linear, yet softened by curved volumes that envelop the form in a fluid gesture. The facial detail, minimal and mask-like, is reduced to essential contrast. Created by Dutch sculptor Paul Simons (b. 1936), known for his refined, spiritual visual language in stone and bronze.
