Antique Tian Bowl with Yellow Glaze

Large antique French confit bowl or gressalle with a yellow glaze to the inside and an unglazed exterior. This terracotta bowl, also known as a tian bowl, has a beautiful patina and originates from South West France. This stunning piece, once used for preparing food, is perfect for displaying fruit or serving as a rustic centrepiece for a touch of French farmhouse style. Condition: Both handles have broken off, there are cracks running through with old repairs. There is wear to the yellow glaze. There is a drilled hole in the base as the bowl appears to have been used for plants. Please refer to the images.
