Armchair in Teak and black leather by Finn Juhl for France & Daverkosen 1963

Finely sculpted arms in solid teak. Original patinated leather on flat helical springs. Nicely suited as a desk chair, the companion chair to the #191 side chair, the #192 would find popularity as a conference chair. This armchair is an early example of the series with the elegant open back. Later models have an extra back stretcher. The padding is worn and the leather well used. The wood has been revitalised.
