Published in Paris by Regard and printed in Paris by Mourlot. Edition of 35 copies with wide margins on Japanese paper. Sheet dimensions: 52 x 75 cm (visible). Image: 43.5 x 66 cm. Frame (block): 53 x 75.5 cm. Frame (wood and metal moulding): 55.5 x 78 x 1.8 cm. In good condition (not examined outside the frame). Sold framed or unframed. Information: One of three original lithographs by Alfred Manessier forming a triptych created for the booklet "Elegy for Martin Luther King (subtitled For a Jazz Orchestra)" by Léopold Sédar Senghor, the third poem in the collection of six booklets: The Major Elegies. The other five booklets are accompanied by prints from Etienne Hadju, Hans Hartung, Maria Helena Viera da Silva, Pierre Soulages, and Zao Wou-Ki.
