Pair of modernist wall sconces in nickel-plated steel and opaline glass, 1930.

Superb pair of modernist Art Deco wall sconces made in France in the early 1930s. The structure is made of fully nickel-plated and polished steel. They are crafted from worked Saint Gobain glass, frosted and hand-cut, embedded in a nickel-plated steel structure. They have been fully repolished, the electrics checked, and are in superb condition. These are truly beautiful modernist pieces, both elegant and timeless, with a stunning patina.
