Very rare beranger pendulum balance datable around 1860. It is the first system with equal arms and compound flails invented by joseph beranger in 1845. White marble top (old stains), painted sheet metal walls (lack of paint), with regulated decorations, cast iron frame, Brass trays marked "beranger" and "chemin paris" with many annual control hallmarks (a different letter each year), diameter 18cm. "pendulum" in regulated with oval brass plate bearing the words: Pendulum balance. Beranger et cie. Patents in lyon. Size: Length 48, 5cm. Width 20cm. Height 20cm. Very good working condition.
