6 coffee cups + saucers in Gien porcelain – Empire style, gold trim

Superb set of 6 coffee cups and their matching saucers made of fine hard porcelain, stamped with the golden crest of the prestigious Manufacture de Gien (Val de Loire, France). Chic production from the second half of the 20th century. This service adopts a very trendy neo-classical "Mix & Match" style, combining three pairs of vibrant imperial colours: • 2 cups and saucers in Empire Green. • 2 cups and saucers in Royal Blue. • 2 cups and saucers in Bordeaux Red. Each piece is highlighted with a frieze of stylised laurels and gold finishes (gold-edged rims and fully gilded handles). • Excellent overall condition, the porcelain is shiny and the gilding is perfectly preserved, with no notable wear. • No chips or cracks. Just to note: a small original firing mark inside one of the cups (see dedicated photo), a small sign of authentic manufacturing that does not affect the strength or beauty of the piece. A refined and graphic service, perfect for adding a touch of colour and retro elegance to a contemporary table at coffee time.
