Holmegaard Mandarin wall lamp by Michael Bang. Denmark, 1980s

Beautiful Holmegaard Mandarin wall lamp. Denmark, 1980s. The large model. Classic design by Michael Bang. Original, in very good condition, no discolouration, scratches or flaws in the shade. The lamp can be mounted either facing up or down. It measures approximately 22 cm in height, 29 cm in width and 19 cm in depth. See the last few photos. The plastic base is no longer very sturdy, which isn’t a problem when the lamp is hung as a downlight, as it rests securely on the mounting; however, if the lamp is to be hung with the light facing upwards, the grey plastic part will need to be supported with a little tape (very easy to do without it being visible). This is purely a cosmetic issue. The original mounting fittings are included, along with a bulb (it has a standard E14 socket). Packed securely and sent with insurance.
