Vintage Scandinavian commode with tapered legs.

This vintage Scandinavian chest of drawers with tapered legs, designed in the 50s/60s, has been fully restored to regain its shine and appearance! Here are the details of this restoration: removal of the veneer on the drawers, sanding, xylophene treatment, painting, upholstery of the drawers, teak-coloured oil protection, and finally, restoration of the original handles. This chest of drawers features 3 upholstered drawers with original handles (in brass with a black notch), which inspired the colours for this restoration! The drawers are clean, upholstered for a chic, elegant effect, and slide perfectly without sticking, remaining stable. The body rests on 4 large inclined legs known as tapered legs, which give this model a lot of style. Chest of drawers in golden oak veneer repainted in black on the sides and top. Chest of drawers protected with teak-coloured oil. Please note some small defects due to its great age despite this restoration, particularly the micro-scratches on the top that stand out a bit with the black colour (see photos) and a lack of veneer in one spot (see photo). Dimensions: Length 101 cm / width 43 cm at the top, 46 cm at the bottom / height 81.5 cm including legs 25.5 cm.
