Magnificent vintage armchair from the 1960s, designed by Czechoslovak designer Frantisek Jirak and produced by Tatra Nabytok. It is an authentic piece of the Mid-Century Modern movement. This model stands out with its superbly shaped curved wooden armrests, typical of the organic design of that era, reminiscent of Scandinavian style. The wooden structure has a beautiful warm and bright hue. The seat and backrest are covered in a light fabric (suede/short velvet appearance) that is very soft, contrasting elegantly with the wood. The armchair is in very good vintage condition. The wood shows some slight signs of normal use (visible in the photos) that attest to its authenticity and age. The fabric is clean and the seat is very comfortable.
