Impressionist oil painting on canvas, peaceful countryside walk, French v

A beautiful vintage oil painting on canvas depicting a peaceful countryside walk shared by two adults and a child. The scene captures a quiet, sunlit landscape with slender trees, a winding path and distant hills. The artist uses confident, expressive brushstrokes and a rich palette of warm ochres, earthy browns, soft blues and delicate mauves to create a wonderfully atmospheric composition. The painting has a distinctly Impressionist character, with a lively, textured surface and a remarkable sense of tranquillity. It is a lovely piece that brings warmth, serenity and artistic charm to an interior. A curious and unusual detail: the reverse of the canvas features a second painting, signed G. Brunie. The artist of the main painting is unknown, and it is uncertain whether the two works were created by the same person or whether the canvas was reused. This intriguing detail adds an extra layer of interest to the piece. The painting is presented in its original dark wooden frame. Details. Medium: Oil on canvas. Main painting: Unsigned.
