Large vintage Lucien Gau crystal and brass ceiling light

Large Lucien Gau ceiling light, old gold, model 680/25 from their catalog. Formerly used in the large corridors of Hausmanian buildings, it is made of glass, brass and gilded bronze, of very good quality and elegant, totally suitable for medium-sized rooms: entrances, large corridors... This Lucien Gau ceiling light can also be used as a wall light. It is composed of an "old gold" gilded brass base, a crystal globe and 3 bayonet sockets. For a little history: the Lucien Gau house, an art bronze maker and manufacturer of lighting fixtures since 1860, was founded in 1934. It is today recognized as a major European name in lighting.
