Large ashtray / pocket tray in marble

Very beautiful vintage ashtray sculpted from a block of polished natural onyx, with remarkable cream, pale green, beige, and brown hues. The stone features particularly rich and graphic veining, different on each part of the piece. Round and generous shape with four integrated cigarette rests around the edge. Typical of decorative objects made from natural stone that were very present in interiors of the 1960s-70s. It can today be perfectly repurposed as a catch-all or decorative dish. In perfect vintage condition, with no visible chips or cracks. Green felt under the base. Dimensions: D 18 × H 3 cm.
