Low stool or tubular ottoman Space Age, France around 1970

Very beautiful and rare low stool or ottoman from around 1970. A model in the Space Age spirit of the time with a very nice tubular structure in chrome metal. The seat has been completely redone by an upholsterer specifically for its sale and covered with a superb textured chenille velvet fabric in natural ecru tones, adding a lot of modernity. The stool measures 58x58 cm and 42 cm in height (seat thickness 12 cm). Of course, it is in perfect condition, with only a few points of oxidation on the base, which do not affect its aesthetic (no pitting of the chrome). This superb ottoman would be ideal, for example, in a large hall for putting on shoes or in a bedroom for placing clothes.
