Chair TON 515 in Beech, design Oswald Haerdtl 1955

Ton515 chairs in beech and beige fabric, sold individually (there are 8 pieces in total). This model was designed in 1955 by the austrian architect-designer oswald haertdl, who worked with joseph hoffman in the art nouveau of the vienna secession in the 1910s. The chair in question was published in the years 1955 to 1960+ by the company ton (ex-thonet, before its nationalization by the communists in 1946); it is one of the icons of the "czech mid-century". These chairs have been carefully restored by our cabinetmaker and reupholstered in an elegant beige fabric. They are therefore in excellent condition.
