French terracotta bas-relief, Venus with Faun from 20th century

COD 11442. Elegant French terracotta from the first half of the 20th century. An excellent quality Art Nouveau bas-relief depicting Venus with a Faun. A modern gilded frame with faux leather covering and small brass studs. The horizontal bas-relief is finely embellished with floral decorations typical of the period and style. The terracotta features difficult-to-read initials (or signature) in the lower right corner. This beautifully sized and proportioned artwork can easily be placed in various locations around the home, hanging from a sturdy dowel, weighing approximately 20 kg. It has no repairs or signs of restoration, has a beautiful patina, and is in good condition. Internal dimensions: H 31 X W 97 cm.
