Description
Created in the 1960s by zamość furniture factory (zamojska fabryka mebli). Designer was inspired by a popular sports discipline in the polish people’s republic (prl) era – ski jumping. The semi-circular shape of the armrests refers to the ski jump and the name skoczek was given to honor achievements of polish athlete. Chairs underwent a complete renovation. Frames made of wood have been cleaned of the old varnish coat, stained in brown color and protected with several layers of semi-matt varnish. Upholstery on the backrests and on the seats were replaced with fashionable fabric.
