Here is a magnificent ceramic set that will bring sunshine to your table! A trivet, two bottle coasters and 12 knife rests in golden mustard yellow slip (it is on the photos presenting the set that the color is closest to reality). A set stamped "Vallauris France FPP" in hollow under several elements. These are ceramics made by the "Faïences et Poteries de Provence" workshop in Vallauris in the 50s or 60s. This workshop was created in 1950 by Joseph Calvas-Blanchon and Jean Rossignol in Vallauris and closed its doors in 1967. A beautiful and surely long artisanal work of shaping to obtain these braids of coils and flat ribbons. I cleaned the set carefully. The set is in good condition, no cracks or chips, but still has some marks that testify to its 70 years: 3 or 4 small losses on the enamel of the knife rests, 3 or 4 tiny losses on the enamel of the trivet, and a few slightly larger ones in the bottoms of the bottle holders. But the set remains in a completely presentable state to put on a table. The trivet measures 27 cm in width and 3 cm in height; the bottle coasters measure 13.5 cm in width and 2.5 cm in height, the knife rests measure 10.5 cm in length, 2.5 cm in width and 1.5 cm in thickness.
