Duo Soliflores Åseda Bo Borgström Swedish Design Bubbles

Set of two vintage tulip-shaped soliflores in Scandinavian art glass, designed by Bo Borgström for the Swedish manufacturer Åseda Glasbruk (1960). The lot includes a cobalt blue model (20.5 cm, 343 g) and a sky blue model (20 cm, 370 g). These pieces illustrate the controlled bubble technique, characterised by a massive base of transparent crystal trapping regular air bubbles, topped with a slender flared neck in coloured glass tinted throughout. They exhibit a high purity of form, representative of Mid-Century Nordic design. In excellent condition, bright and stable.
