Large footed dish Gallia – Christofle – Silver-plated – Art Deco 1930-1940

Large metal footed dish in silver plate from the Gallia collection, produced by Christofle, from the Art Deco period. An elegant circular model featuring a wide rim adorned with eight relief decorations with beaded motifs, characteristic of Gallia design. Its significant presence makes it a beautiful presentation bowl or a remarkable centrepiece. The piece is stamped Gallia (see photos of the reverse). Condition is satisfactory with a beautiful original silver plating. There are some usage scratches and slight spots of wear on the bottom, consistent with its age, without affecting its presentation.
