Magnificent vintage teapot made of fine Japanese porcelain, from the renowned Takito Company (Nagoya). This piece is a refined testament to the export production of the Taisho era (early 20th century). It stands out with its "Blue Chintz" (or Calico) decoration, a densely applied cobalt blue floral pattern, transferred with remarkable precision. • Sculpted handle: A very elegant "bamboo" shape, entirely enhanced with fine gold gilding. • Finish: The lid's knob is also gilded, adding a touch of light to the deep blue of the porcelain. • Signature: Authenticated by the red "TT" (Takito) seal under the base, a guarantee of quality and authenticity for collectors. The teapot is in exceptional condition for its age (approximately 100 years). No cracks, chips, or restorations. The interior is perfectly clean. The gilding on the handle shows a slight natural patina from use, confirming its antique and authentic character.
