This antique armchair from the 1940s seduces with its elegant solid wood structure, crafted in a colonial or neo-louis XIII style. The curved armrests, turned legs, and natural patina of the wood give it an authentic charm. The back and sides are made of natural cane, in a stable overall condition. Two small areas have been reinforced with plant fiber patches, visible but well integrated, ensuring the solidity of the whole and preventing any further deterioration. The seat is composed of a thick, removable ecru fabric cushion, offering good comfort of use. The armchair remains perfectly stable, with normal signs of use for a piece of furniture from this period, without structural fragility. Its dimensions are generous and balanced, allowing for both decorative and functional use. It fits ideally into an interior with a vintage character or a warm and eclectic atmosphere.
