Strawberry service Gien in white earthenware with wild strawberry decoration - 1970s-80s

Beautiful white earthenware strawberry service from Gien, adorned with a delicate design of wild strawberries, green foliage, and small red fruits in a frieze. The service includes a large perforated draining bowl, its presentation plate, individual bowls, and a matching sugar shaker. Each piece is stamped Gien on its base, except for the sugar shaker. The decoration, very fresh and finely distributed along the edges, gives this service a joyful and refined presence, perfect for strawberries, red fruits, summer desserts, or a well-set country table. The pieces are in very good condition, with no cracks or chips. There are a few fine hairline enamel marks and signs of age, the most noticeable being a slight discolouration towards the base of the sugar shaker. Dimensions: Presentation plate: Ø25 cm. Large bowl: Ø23 cm, H8 cm. Sugar shaker: H14.5 cm, Ø8.5 cm. Individual bowls: Ø14.5 cm, H3.5 cm. Total weight: 2.622 kg.
