Alpho jug of the "gargoulette" type, Art Deco

With a double spout and central handle in flamed stoneware ceramic. This is an authentic piece in Art Deco style, made in France (Drôme) by the ceramist Alphonse Mouton, signed in relief under the base with his famous pseudonym "ALPHO" and bearing the model number: 280. Period: 1930 - 1950. Width: 14.5 cm; height: 14 cm. Decoration: Superb tricolour glaze with flowing shades typical of the artist, ranging from a beige/ochre neck to an emerald green/turquoise base, separated by a dark cobalt blue band. Unique design: Rare spherical shape with an ergonomic central handle and two distinct pouring spouts. Perfect condition. No chips, no nicks or cracks. The glaze is shiny and the colours are impeccable. The piece is sound and clean.
