Two old blown glass walking glasses decorated with phrygian cap and flowered branch, in blue and red tones. Appraised and attributed to jean luce (1895-1964) Period: 1930s. Dimensions: height 10 cm, drinking diameter 7 cm. Good condition. Wishing to renovate the table services, jean luce designed models and shapes and installed, in 1923, rue la boétie in paris, the current house which, from 1931, he was the director. He exhibited for the first time in 1911, at the galliera museum, and participated in all the exhibitions of the society of decorative artists as well as in the exhibitions of decorative art organized in france and abroad. Among his remarkable creations: porcelain and glassware models for normandy, which remain in use on the boats of the compagnie générale transatlantique; the service of the city of paris intended for the hôtel de lauzun and that of general eisenhower for the s.h.a.p.e.
