Incredible MP-81 Lounge chair with ottoman in suede by Percival Lafer, Brazil 1970s. A highly comfortable an striking design. The structure is composed of two fiberglass shells welded together to create a single, rigid element. The solid wood feet are attached to the structure by previously made wooden screw nuts, which can be tightened with the special original wooden tool which comes with this set. The back feet comes with two pins which hold the headrest, and therefore it becomes removable when wished. This set comes in its original suede with several tones of green and beige, creating character and an interesting look in different lighting. This design is a highly sought after model which combines comfort and breathtaking design. Móveis Lafer, where Percival designed a wide range of products, played a substantial role in Brazilian furniture in the second half of the 20th century.
