Sanguine of of the cartoonist jean carton, born may 23, 1911 died november 30, 1988 in paris. In 1964, he was elected a member of the academy of fine arts and he was a member of the society of french painters-engravers, in 1980, a large exhibition of sanguines, drawings and engravings is organized at artfrance, avenue matignon, in paris.
